What is the difference between counseling and Coaching?
Counseling focuses on healing past wounds, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns. Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused, helping you gain clarity, set goals, and take action toward personal and professional fulfillment. While counseling may explore deep-rooted issues, coaching empowers you to move forward with purpose and confidence.
How do I know if I need counseling or coaching?
If you're dealing with unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, or emotional distress, counseling may be the best fit. If you feel stuck, lack clarity, or need guidance in achieving personal or professional goals, coaching may be more appropriate. If you're unsure, we can discuss your needs in a consultation and determine the best approach for you
Do you offer virtual sessions
Yes! Both counseling and coaching sessions are available virtually, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your home.
Who do you work with?
I primarily work with high-achieving women who feel unfulfilled despite their success. If you're seeking clarity on your identity, purpose, or next steps, my coaching services are designed for you.
What can I expect from coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative process that includes deep self-exploration, mindset shifts, and actionable strategies. Each session is designed to help you gain insight, overcome obstacles, and create a plan for meaningful change.
How long is a coaching program?
The duration varies depending on your goals. I offer single-session intensives, short-term (4-6 sessions), and longer-term coaching programs (8-12 sessions) to support your transformation.
Do you accept insurance for counseling?
We currently accept CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Some of my clients choose to not utilize their insurance provider and opt for private pay. It is completely the client's personal preference.
What types of issues do you help with in counseling?
I specialize in helping individuals navigate life transitions, identity struggles, anxiety, and emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe space for you to heal and grow.
What if I'm not sure this is right for me?
That’s okay! The discovery call is designed to help you explore your options without commitment. I’ll answer your questions and help you decide if counseling or coaching aligns with your goals.
